The CV Link is an award-winning project that has received recognition for its innovative and visionary planning from statewide, regional and local organizations:
2017 Bronze ADDY Awards for CV Link Project Map & Collaterial Materials
The American Advertising Awards is a celebration of the best of the best in American advertising. Selection of the most creative entry in each category is effected by a scoring process in which a panel of three judges evaluated and judged all creative dimension in every entry. In each category, an ADDY is recognition of the highlest level of creative excellence and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition. The scoring levels include Bronze, Silver and Gold ADDY winners.
In 2015, CVAG won a 1st place Gold ADDY award for the project video and a 2nd place Silver ADDY award for the project website.

2017 APA Inland Empire Chapter Transportation Planning Award for CV Link Conceptual Master Plan
The American Planning Association-Inland Empire Section, a non-profit professional research organization committed to urban, suburban, regional, and rural planning, presented CVAG with the 2017 Transportation Planning Award for the CV Link Conceptual Master Plan. The award honors efforts to increase transportation choices for all populations, reducing dependence on private automobiles and helping to ease congestion and reducing climage change impacts. The CV Link Conceptual Master Plan provides a road map detailing every aspect of the project from the vision and goals to the route, design concept and implementation. Development of the CV Link Conceptual Master Plan culminated 4 years of research and planning along with extensive public outreach that included contributions from a wide range of public and private sector professionals in addition to volunteer organizations and the CV Link Citizens Advisory Group. The CV Link Conceptual Master Plan outlines a strategy to address the current deficiencies in the valley’s walking and bicycle network to relieve congestion and improve air quality while creating a safe and efficient route for travel throughout the Coachella Valley.

TELLY 2015 Silver Award for CV Link Project Video
Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional, and cable TV commercials and programs, the finest video and film productions, and web commercials, videos and films. Winners represent the best work of the most respected advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators, and corporate video departments in the world. The 36th Annual Telly Awards featured nearly 12,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries.
In 2015, CVAG’s project video for CV Link was recognized with a 1st place Silver TELLY award.

CAPIO 2015 Award of Distinction for CV Link Project Video
The California Association of Public Information Officials (CAPIO) announced the winners of the 2015 CAPIO Excellence in Communications Awards program at their Awards Gala April 15, 2015 in Long Beach. Each year the statewide organization receives entries in the categories of communication and marketing campaigns, newsletter production, new media, photography, special events, writing, website development, video production and innovative programs.

SCAG 2013 Compass Blueprint Excellence Award in Mobility
Each year, the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) hosts the Compass Blueprint Recognition Awards. The awards recognize great planning and development work occurring throughout the region and exemplify the Compass Blueprint principles of Sustainability, Livability, Mobility and Prosperity.
In 2013, CVAG’s Parkway 1e11 Project, now known as CV Link, was recognized for efforts to develop an innovative multi-modal path that will accommodate bicycles, pedestrians and low-speed electric vehicles.

Innovation in Green Community Planning Award
The American Planning Association-Inland Empire Section, a non-profit professional research organization committed to urban, suburban, regional, and rural planning, presented CVAG with the 2013 Innovation in Green Community Planning Award for its work on the Preliminary Study Report for Parkway 1e11, now known as CV Link.
Merit Award for Planning
Presented at the 2013 California Trails and Greenway Conference, CVAG was presented with the Merit Award for Planning. This honor recognizes individuals, organizations, agencies and businesses that, through their hard work, integrity and social responsibility, have made outstanding contributions that promote, enhance or expand public awareness and use of trails and greenways in California.
