Coachella Valley Link (CV Link) Extension to Mecca and North Shore

The Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) is planning to extend the CV Link into the rural communities of Mecca and North Shore, bringing safe, scenic, and sustainable transportation options to more residents in the Coachella Valley. The project aims to better connect residents to schools, parks, community centers, and the Salton Sea while promoting healthier travel choices and reducing vehicle dependence. With a focus on increasing overall accessibility, this effort will support mobility for critical communities and lay the groundwork for future state and federal funding.

Integration with greater CV Link

This extension will add approximately 23 miles to the existing CV Link path, offering new opportunities for walking, biking, and low-speed electric vehicles.
Alignments are subject to revision.
