The Coachella Valley Association of Governments (CVAG) is planning to extend the CV Link into the community of Desert Hot Springs, bringing safe, scenic, and sustainable transportation options to more residents in the Coachella Valley. The project aims to better connect residents to schools, parks, and community centers while promoting healthier travel choices and reducing vehicle dependence. With a focus on increasing overall accessibility, this effort will support mobility and connectivity while laying the groundwork for future state and federal funding.

Integration with greater CV Link

This extension will add approximately 5-10  miles to the existing CV Link path, offering new opportunities for walking, biking, and low-speed electric vehicles.
